The Pilar pull-down kitchen faucet with Touch2O Technology and DIAMOND Seal Technology byDeltahas been named a Favorite Product in the 2009 People’s Choice Stevie Awards. The nationwide, online vote was conducted by the Stevie Awards, sponsors of the annual American Business Awards, a premier business awards competition in the United States.

According to Delta, Pilar was designed for a cleaner and more efficient way to work in the kitchen. Three technologies help simplify kitchen tasks and provide a revolutionary leak-free, lead-free water delivery system.

Users can start and stop the flow of water with a simple tap anywhere on the spout or the handle, saving both water and energy. Touch2O Technology also makes kitchen tasks easier during food preparation and clean up, and helps prevent the spread of bacteria.

The Pilar faucet also incorporates a two-function, pull-down spray head that switches from stream to spray with the click of a diverter button. A magnetic closure, called MagnaTite, intuitively engages the spray head to its docked position, helping to keep both the faucet and kitchen looking neat and orderly.

Pilar also incorporates DIAMOND Seal Technology, an exclusive leak-free water delivery system that eliminates contact with potential metal contaminants.

Voting for the 2009 People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite New Products was open to the general public during the months of April and May 2009. More than 100,000 votes were cast in 12 People’s Choice categories including Favorite Entertainment/Media Product or Service, Favorite Gadget, Favorite Smartphone/PDA and Favorite Product or Service - Other.
