InSinkErator®, long known for its hot water products that instantly dispense near-boiling, 200-degree F water, has made accessing instant cold, high-quality water from your sink a reality this year with the recent launch of its chilled water tank. Cold, 38-degree F water is dispensed above the sink through a variety of stylish dispensers ― the Series 1100, TranScape and Series 2200 models ― that accentuate any kitchen décor. The chilled water tank may be added to an existing hot/cool instant hot water system or used as a stand-alone unit with the new cold-only faucet.

While the dispenser faucet is on display on the sink, the compact chilled water tank fits nicely under the sink and is air-cooled so no cabinet venting is required. It sits out of sight along with the stainless steel tank and the filtration system. The stainless-steel tank makes it possible to instantly dispense near boiling water that is perfect for preparing instant coffee, cooking pasta al dente or cleaning dishes with stuck-on food. Using the standard InSinkErator F201 filtration system in conjunction with the chilled water tank reduces chlorine taste and odor while the F-601 premium replacement filter goes further to remove dangerous parasites, toxic chemicals and heavy metals.
