More than 160 students and faculty advisors from 24 MCAA student chapters, contractors, local association executives and staff attended the Mechanical Contractors Association of America’s 2006 Student Chapter Summit in Atlanta. The conference featured sessions on proposal development, the green building movement, and project management.

Attendees heard from the Purdue University student chapter, the 2005 Student Chapter of the Year, about its successes in recruiting new members and building leadership skills among its members. A roundtable discussion led by recent graduates provided students with job search and career development advice. The 2007 Summit heads to Cleveland.
