Jacuzzi Brands, maker of bathtubs and plumbing products, has named
Thomas Koos president and CEO. Koos replaces Al Marini, who is leaving
Jacuzzi to join Rexnord Corp., the company that recently acquired Zurn,
Jacuzzi’s plumbing products business. Marini will continue to serve on the
Jacuzzi board of directors.
Koos formerly served as corporate officer
and group president of consumer products worldwide for Black & Decker. He
has also held senior posts at Newell Rubbermaid.
Masco Corp.
named Jerry Volas the group president of Plumbing
and Heating Products. Prior to this position, Volas was a group vice president
for the Plumbing and Heating Platform. He succeeds John
Wills, who has resigned. Wills will continue to assist the
company in a consulting capacity. Volas joined Masco in 1983 through the
acquisition of BrassCraft Manufacturing Co., and over the past 15 years has
held various executive positions.
Moen recently promoted Mark Loeper to vice president and general manager of Creative Specialties
International, which makes decorative bath accessories and bath safety
products. Previously, Loeper had been vice president sales, retail.
Jeffrey Davis
joined Uponor
as vice president of sales and a member of the Senior Management Committee.
Davis served the last four years as national sales manager for the Leatherman
Tool Group. Prior to that he spent eight years with Kohler Co., including four
years as sales manager for its Home Depot Northwest/Expo West Coast.
Separately,
Mary Beth Manninen, formerly of the Carlson
Marketing Group in Minneapolis, was named to the newly created position of
training manager.
T&S Brass and Bronze Works
promoted Ken Gallagher
to vice president of sales. Gallagher joined T&S Brass in 2000 and has
previously served in positions including marketing product manager, marketing
manager and most recently, director of sales.
Watts Water Technologies promoted
Bruce Parrott to
vice president of sales administration for its wholesale markets. He had been
national sales manager-fire protection and water works markets.
NIBCO promoted 17-year company veteran
Jeff Shreiner to vice president, wholesale sales. He had
been serving as director, specialty channels.
MJSI
hired Tony Maranto
for its newly created position as domestic sales manager. Previously, he was
the manager of corporate marketing at T.C.B. Entertainment.
Chicago Faucets announced
that Art Petracco
joined the company as director of market development, responsible for
identifying and developing new markets for the company’s concealed cistern
product line within the United Sates. Petracco was most recently director of
project commercial sales with Grohe America. The company also promoted Jim Nahin to national sales manager for
OEM and residential products. Nahin joined Chicago Faucets in May 2004 as
regional sales manager – residential, with his most recent responsibility being
the company’s West region.
SFA Saniflo Inc.
recruited Christopher
Peterson as West Coast regional manager. He previously
worked with Sprint PCS as a sales consultant. Also hired was Debbie Eisenbrey as office manager of
the Edison, N.J., facility. She has 15 years of sales and office administration
experience, most recently at Eastern Freightways. Also, Robert Irvin was named technical
services manager. He comes to Saniflo from the Marriott Corp
Shane
Templeton was appointed as OEM regional sales manager for
TAC Field Device
Division, the division born from the Invensys Building
Systems business acquisition.
Prier Products hired
Steve Berry, P.E.,
as research, development and engineering manager. Before joining Prier,
he had been president and managing partner of a consulting engineering
firm. The company also welcomed Bob
Beilfuss as the new director of manufacturing. Beilfuss
returns to Prier after five years as manufacturing manager for Black and
Decker.
Hansgrohe-North America
announced that Al DeGenova
has joined the company in the newly created position of director of marketing.
Prior to joining Hansgrohe, DeGenova spent nearly 18 years with Grohe America.
Danfoss appointed
Robert Hennessy as
director of wholesale sales and marketing. He comes to Danfoss from Invensys
Controls, where he was director of HVACR Wholesale.
The Gastite Division of Titeflex Corp. named
Craig Barry as its
new director of marketing. Prior to joining Gastite, Barry held a similar
position at LENOX, a manufacturer of power and hand tools.
Noveon hired
Jeffrey Trimpe as a
FlowGuard Gold ® CPVC Pipe & Fittings piping systems consultant for its
East Midwest territory.
Elkay Manufacturing Co’s Plumbing Products Division named Marilyn Morgan as retail marketing manager, Mark Hird as marketing manager for the wholesale residential segment, and
Rod Magnuson as commercial marketing manager.
Steamist named Fred Fedewa as its national training manager. Prior to joining Steamist, Fedewa spent more than eight years
at Grohe, a global brand for sanitary products and systems.
