The PHCC Educational Foundation is revising its Plumbing Home Study Apprenticeship Program. The first-year home study manual is now complete, and revisions are underway for the second through fourth years of the program.

The first-year program includes a copy of the newly revised first-year PHCC Educational Foundation Plumbing Apprentice Student Workbook, as well as tests and other support materials. The second-year manual will be available early summer 2006, and the remaining manuals will follow on a timely basis.

With the home study program, students work at their own pace, reviewing and taking tests when they're ready. The tests are completed on paper and mailed in for grading. Test results are mailed back to the students. Free technical assistance is also available.

Educational Foundation staff administers the program, grades tests, tracks results and keeps supervisors informed about apprentices' progress.
