• Jim Galvin, vice president of sales and marketing, retired from Symmons Industries after 36 years of service. He started out in the shipping room, moved up to district manager in 1980, was a regional sales manager, then was named director of marketing in 1989. He became vice president of sales and marketing in 1995.

  • Harrington Brass Works hired Tim Herley as general manager/vice president. Herley is a 25-year veteran of the kitchen and bath industry, most recently heading American Standard's luxury segment for the U.S. marketplace.

  • Selkirk Canada made changes to its management team: Susan Cornwell was hired as newly created director of finance; Glenda Iuliani was promoted to director of human resources; Chuck Gyuka was promoted to director of logistics, succeeding Jim Vargyas, who retired but will remain on a part-time basis.

  • Bill Sallee was named Harvel Plastics' national sales manager for fire protection products. The 35-year fire protection industry veteran most recently served with Thompson Plastics.

  • Mauricio Lavandero joined Briggs Industries as vice president of marketing. He was formerly commercial director for Latin America for both Newell Rubbermaid and Polaroid Corp., as well as Latin America marketing manager for Black & Decker and DeWalt power tool lines.

  • Eljer promoted Chris Miller to director of marketing and product manager, kitchen sinks. Miller is a 15-year veteran with Eljer.

  • Paul Sellers was hired as an account manager for Rinnai America. He formerly served as Western regional sales manager for A.O. Smith, and also held positions with Jacuzzi and Kohler.

  • William Houlin was named president and CEO of Briggs Plumbing Products. He has more than 20 years of experience in executive management, marketing and business development with PRG-Shultz, Black & Decker, Polaroid and Gillette.

  • Hansgrohe executives appointed their vice president of sales and product research, Craig Helenbrook, to the position of senior vice president for the North American subsidiary. Helenbrook joined the company in 1999 after 28 years with A.O. Smith Water Products.

  • Falcon Waterfree Technologies named James (Jamie) Krug to the new position of president and CEO for global operations, and Ron Gastelum, a member of the Falcon Waterfree board of advisors since May 2005, has been elevated to chairman of the advisory board. Krug's new position includes the role previously served by Jay Troger, who has announced his resignation as president of the company.

    Krug has served as president of Falcon's international division for the past three years, and as the corporate president prior to the creation of the United States and Canadian division. Prior to that, he held senior operations and business affairs positions with Paramount Pictures Corp. and the Walt Disney Co. Gastelum is the retired president/CEO of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, the nation's largest water wholesaler, the company said.

  • MAAX named David Lipkin vice president sales USA - wholesale and showroom - bathroom sector, a newly created position. Formerly, Lipkin was with American Standard for more than 10 years, serving as vice president/sales and marketing for the fittings division and vice president/sales, U.S. wholesale for the bath and kitchen division.

  • Jacuzzi Brands appointed Alex Marini president and COO, succeeding Donald Devine, who left the company to pursue other interests. Marini also remains president of Zurn Industries, a position he has held since 1996. Also, Marie Dreher was named to the newly created position of senior vice president/corporate development and strategy. She had held positions of increasing responsibility at Millennium Chemicals.

  • Moen promoted July Riley to vice president/design. She will oversee design initiatives for the Moen, ShowHouse, CSI and Home Care by Moen brands. Riley joined the company in 2003 as senior director of industrial design.

  • Decolav named Brett Beadleson vice president of sales. He has more than 20 years of global sales and marketing experience.

  • Eljer has promoted Frank Vullo to vice president of procurement. A 24-year Eljer veteran, Vullo most recently served as director of product management.

  • Selkirk LLC promoted Kevin Redd to engineering manager for Selkirk's U.S. operations. He was formerly a manufacturing engineer for the company in Nampa, Idaho.

  • Basco appointed John Burgoon as director of quality assurance. Prior to joining Basco, Burgoon worked for Xomax, where he held a variety of positions.
