BuildNet Inc.'s PlumbingOnline community signed an agreement with CareerSite Corp. to power This new recruitment section of the site focuses on employers and job seekers in the plumbing distribution, manufacturing and contracting industry, and provides employers with a free, one-stop browser-based e-recruiting tool.

For a nominal fee, employers can access more than 200,000 candidate profiles in CareerSite's database, auto-post and cross-post jobs to fee-based sites, list a company profile, and receive additional services. also provides job seekers with career management tools and easy access to employers of the PlumbingOnline vertical community.

Job-searching tools include automatic e-mail notification of job matches based on registered preferences, online resume storage, cover letter submissions, and the ability to search and apply for jobs. Access to customer service, a career resource center and online bookstore also are available.

In other PlumbingOnline news, the site announced the introduction of a new incentive to plumbing contractors, distributors and manufacturers who visit and register at Between Oct.1 and Dec. 15, 2000, registered visitors to the site will be offered a chance to win a Royal Caribbean cruise.
