Easy Street will conduct a three-day training course on the usage and operation of its Total Office Manager and Flat Rate Plus software systems March 22-24, 2005, at the Marriott Airport Hotel, Kansas City, Mo. Basco Shower Door Co. announced the schedule for Basco University, the company's training program for installers of its shower doors and enclosures, for the first half of 2005. The classes, all held at the new training facility in Mason, Ohio, have been realigned so students can take both classes consecutively over a three-day period. Uponor Wirsbo released the dates for its 2005 HCT Mini-Camp, which allows contractors hands-on experience in radiant heating applications. Lochinvar Corp. announced its 2005 training schedule for its Lochinvar University, held at company headquarters in Lebanon, Tenn.
- Basco Core Line Training will be held March 22-23, April 5-6, April 19-20, May 3-4, May 17-18, May 24-25, June 14-15 and June 28-29.
Celesta Installation Training will be held March 23-24, April 6-7, April 20-21, May 4-5, May 18-19, May 25-26, June 15-16 and June 29-30.
- Mini-Camp I shows contractors the basics: system design and applications, installation options, energy management, primary/secondary piping, and outdoor reset. Remaining dates are April 7-9, July 21-23, Oct. 6-8 and Nov. 3-5.
Mini-Camp II builds on Mini-Camp I, with topics such as Advanced Design Suite software, boiler piping and sizing, circulator sizing, and more. Remaining dates are March 31-April 2, June 23-25, Aug. 18-20, Sept. 8-10 and Oct. 20-22.
- The Water Heating Sizing and Application School will show attendees the fundamentals of water heating, copper-tube water heaters, energy efficiency and operation cost comparisons, and more. Dates are April 7-8 and July 7-8.
The Boiler Application School will cover the principles of combustion, efficiency fundamentals, boiler types, vent categories, vent sizing, pump and pump sizing, and more. Dates are April 20-22 and Aug. 17-19.
