Dornbracht Cited For Good Design
German plumbing manufacturer Dornbracht received the 2003 Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design for three products that reflect the award's objective of outstanding design and product distinction: Meta.02 Profi Kitchen Faucet; WP.FX1 Washstand designed by Gerhard Busalt for Dornbracht-owned Alape; and Wave Chair by Studio Massard for Dornbracht Interiors.
Products will be on display at the museum during the spring of 2004; afterward, they will become part of the museum's permanent design collection.
