House Approves Workplace Preservation Act

New Act keeps OSHA from issuing proposed ergonomics rules.
The House Committee on Education and the Workforce approved the Workplace Preservation Act (H.R.
987), which keeps OSHA from issuing a proposed ergonomics rule until the National Academy of Sciences
completes a final study on ergonomics.
