BNP Media and PM columnist John Siegenthaler, P.E., have released hydronic heating training material and design software after two years in development. “The Modern Engineering Concepts Hydronic Heating Manual” and MEC Hydronic Heating Design CD Set are now available for purchase. Previously, only MEC attendees could purchase these materials.

“After two years of preparing and presenting this information throughout the country, I am excited these materials are available to hydronic professionals to help them grow in their understanding and skills,” Siegenthaler said. ”These new packages are a great deal for those who cannot attend the seminar.”

“The MEC Hydronic Heating Design Manual” is a 168-page spiral-bound workbook with color charts, graphs and tables. It is available for $30.

The MEC Hydronic Heating Design CD Set contains four discs and includes the proprietary Hydronic System Simulator software, as well as the technical specifications supplied by 36 hydronic heating product manufacturers who sponsored the 2005 MEC seminar series. It is available for $99. “The MEC Manual” and MEC CD set are available as a package for $115.

In addition, a collection of more than 100 technical hydronics articles written by Siegenthaler is available on CD. Hydronics Know-How, a best-seller at BNP, is available for $75. It is also available as part of a combo package with the MEC Workbook and MEC Design CD for $150 for all three items.
