The unemployment rate remained at 4.2 percent for September.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported the unemployment rate at 4.2 percent for September, unchanged from the previous
month. Also in September, the construction industry gained 21,000 jobs. The unemployment rate for construction workers was
down 7.9 percent from August.
