Oregon Passes Prompt Payment & Bid Shopping Law

Contractors must promptly pay their subcontractors once
work is completed.
A new Oregon law requires that contractors working under a public agency contract promptly pay their subcontractors once
work is completed. The law also requires bidders to submit, within four hours of the bid submittal deadline, disclosure of any
first-tier sub furnishing labor or material.
