Mr. Rooter (Waco, Texas) promoted Larry Ross, former vice president of operations, to the post of chief operating officer. He has been with the company since 1995. C&R Mechanical Co. (Bridgeton, Mo.) promoted Melissa McGinnis-Russo as manager of the Applied Engineering Group, and hired Mark D. Edwards as a senior project engineer. Russo joined the company in 2003 as a project engineer, and Edwards was most recently a mechanical systems designer at Rock Hill Mechanical Co. The IAPMO Group hired Carl Marbery as its director of code support. He succeeds John Halliwell, who retired last summer. With 24 years of technical engineering experience, Marbery was most recently part of the senior technical staff of the International Code Council's Architectural and Engineering Service Department.
