Daukin NEXIO Max Heat Pump
The system uses low-GWP R-32 refrigerant and Daikin variable-speed technology to provide heating and cooling across a range of operating conditions.

Daikin Comfort Technologies North America has introduced the Daikin NEXIO Max package heat pump, an inverter-driven rooftop unit for light commercial applications. The system uses low-GWP R-32 refrigerant and Daikin variable-speed technology to provide heating and cooling across a range of operating conditions. It is designed for retrofit and new construction applications and supports building electrification efforts. NEXIO Max delivers up to 22 IEER cooling efficiency and is available in 7.5-, 8.5- and 10-ton capacities, with up to 114,000 BTU/h of cooling performance. The unit operates at outdoor ambient temperatures down to -13° F and provides 85% of rated heating capacity at 14° F.
The system is designed to align with common rooftop unit footprints, helping maintain existing curb and duct compatibility without requiring a curb adapter in some replacement projects. Factory-wired and labeled connections are intended to simplify startup and commissioning, while an open-access cabinet supports service and maintenance. NEXIO Max includes standard single-zone VAV functionality, native BACnet integration and compatibility with Daikin controls and select third-party thermostats. Remote monitoring, diagnostics and control are available through the Daikin HERO platform. Configurable options include Multi-Zone VAV and Hot Gas Reheat.
