Sloan is providing commercial facilities with a direct path to reducing the environmental impact of their restroom products through its Carbon Neutral program. The program features an expansive line of Sloan’s carbon neutral products as well as a strategic partnership with Climate Vault, a nonprofit known for its science-backed approach to climate impact.

“In 2026, sustainable building practices are as imperative as ever,” said Paul Sambanis, vice president of Sustainability at Sloan. “At Sloan, we believe providing carbon neutral smart water and restroom products empowers our customers to lead in both environmental responsibility and long-term value. Our commitment is to innovate continuously, making it easier for industry professionals to achieve their boldest sustainability goals.”

Sloan’s Carbon Neutral program is engineered to address the growing demand for sustainable building materials and support projects striving to meet rigorous green building standards, including LEED v5. Central to this program is a verifiable, data-backed strategy that aims to empower architects, engineers and facility managers to directly reduce the embodied carbon footprint of their buildings from day one.

Sloan calculates each product’s carbon footprint with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), then offsets these emissions through partnerships with Climate Vault. By neutralizing product-level emissions and addressing critical Scope 3 emissions throughout the supply chain, Sloan supports customers in meeting LEED v5’s heightened focus on transparency and decarbonization as well as a broad portfolio of ESG and climate commitments with confidence.

In addition, the program offers a suite of  carbon neutral Sloan products without sacrificing style or function. Available products include Sloan’s iconic Royal, Regal, Sloan, CX, G2, GEM-2, and SOLIS flushometers, innovative BASYS and Optima sensor faucets, DropSpot Bottle Fillers and Water Coolers, and a wide range of vitreous china water closets and urinals. Each product’s carbon footprint is calculated using data from its EPDs and neutralized through verified carbon reduction initiatives.
