Ariston USA announced it has named Michael Sokaris, a sales leader with more than 35 years of industry experience, as its vice president of sales, water heating.

“As a global leader in water heating, it’s exciting to see Ariston invest in the U.S. to build the same reputation it enjoys worldwide,” Sokaris said. “Exciting next generation products are on the way, which will open the door for rapid growth and a strong U.S. brand footprint.”

 A resident of Albany, N.Y., Sokaris served as the Director of Sales & Marketing, North America for Centrotherm, a manufacturer of venting and air distribution systems that works with heating and plumbing wholesalers, mechanical contractors, OEMs, consulting engineers and commercial specification representatives. Sokaris also served in numerous leadership roles during a 25-year career with Schneider Electric.

“Ariston’s global strength is clear, and we’re aligning our product portfolio to take a stronger position in the U.S. market,” Sokaris said. “We will be driving growth through investment and introducing industry-leading global technologies to the U.S. market.”

Earlier this year, Ariston introduced the Ariston Nuos Side-Connect and Nuos Multi-Fit Hybrid Heat Pump water heaters. The Ariston Nuos™ range is equipped with five operating modes to suit all water heating demands and includes i-Memory, a proprietary algorithm that will learn the homeowner’s hot water usage patterns over the previous four weeks and provide hot water precisely when needed. Additional products from Ariston are expected to be introduced to the U.S. market later this year and throughout 2026.
