APM Steam and Aquatomic announce collaboration to deliver comprehensive thermal energy solutions

Partnership drives energy efficiency and cost savings for mission-critical facilities.

American Plant Maintenance (APM Steam) and Aquatomic Products Company announced a strategic collaboration designed to deliver more comprehensive thermal energy solutions to mission-critical facilities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. This collaboration brings together the strengths of two specialized teams to support facility managers and operators with an integrated, holistic approach to energy efficiency, system performance and cost savings. Both companies will continue to operate independently, maintaining their established brands, teams and customer relationships.

A Unified Approach to Thermal Infrastructure Aquatomic brings decades of experience in boiler and cooling tower water treatment. APM specializes in steam trap surveys, system assessments, repairs, and energy efficiency enhancements. By coordinating their efforts, the two companies aim to provide customers with more comprehensive services that address both steam and water systems.

Enhanced efficiency through operational support

Aquatomic will begin leveraging select operational infrastructure from APM, including tools for project management and reporting. This will streamline service delivery and provide customers with faster, more transparent project outcomes. The collaboration enables both companies to focus on their technical strengths while improving consistency and scalability.

No change to customer experience, just more capability

Customers can expect the same service from the teams they know. There are no changes to points of contact, account structures or service commitments. Instead, customers will now have easier access to a broader range of services delivered through a more integrated and coordinated approach. This partnership is designed to simplify facility management while strengthening trust, reliability and value in thermal energy systems. By working together, APM and Aquatomic are equipping facilities with the tools and expertise needed to meet today’s demands and tomorrow’s challenges.
