Justin Emasie

Age: 35

Company: Liberty Pumps

Title: Field product and promotion specialist

How long have you been in the PHCP-PVF industry?

JE: I have been in the industry for 14 years, working in the Liberty Pumps factory for eight years and in sales and marketing for the last six years.

What drew you into the industry?

JE: My brother introduced me to Liberty Pumps while I was searching for employment.  I started by working in the plant building the products and I wanted to learn and see more. When the opportunity in sales and marketing opened, I went for it.

What is the most rewarding aspect of working in the industry?

JE: The most rewarding aspect of working in this industry is being able to help. Contractors and engineers have a difficult job and if I'm able to help them with a difficult situation, it's very rewarding.

What motivates you every day?

JE: I thrive on teaching people about Liberty Pumps and what motivates me is just to be my best. I treat every training session like it could be someone's first time with Liberty Pumps. Liberty believed in me, and I don't want to let anyone down.

What is one thing you wish more people knew/understood about the PHCP-PVF industry?

JE: You will always have something new to learn. And how much of a family this industry is! You can get into it in your 20s, stay in it your whole career, and make lifelong friends.

What has been your proudest moment in your career so far?

I would probably say being in the Top 20 under 40.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

JE: My friends and I are trying to go to every MLB stadium and watch a weekend series. Currently, we are at six.

Why he was chosen as a Next Gen All-Star Top 20 Under 40 winner:

His proactive mindset ensures that potential issues are addressed before they become problems, contributing to smoother operations and higher satisfaction among contractors and distributors.

“Moreover, Justin's ability to build strong relationships with contractors and distributors has been a key factor in spreading knowledge and fostering trust in our products. His personable nature and genuine interest in helping others create a supportive environment where questions are encouraged, and learning is optimized. These interactions not only benefit the contractors and distributors but also contribute to the overall growth and reputation of our company.

“Justin's involvement extends beyond our company. He is actively engaged with several industry organizations, including the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) and the Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA). His participation in these organizations demonstrates his commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and contributing to the advancement of the field.
