Business Development Resources (BDR), the home service industry's training and business coaching authority, announced the acquisition of BxB Media, a full-service marketing agency supporting contractor businesses. As part of the transaction, BDR and BxB partnered with an investment firm to support the ongoing growth of the combined companies as well as future strategic acquisitions.

BDR and BxB Media have worked together for over a decade to support the growth of home service businesses nationwide. That history, paired with aligned missions, visions, and values, led to a natural fit in the acquisition process.

"This move marks an exciting new chapter for both our companies as we join forces to better serve our clients and advance our industry,” said Bruce Wiseman, BDR’s CEO and founder. “By combining our strengths and expertise, we are poised to deliver even greater solutions, helping businesses across the country continue ‘Driving Profit and Growth®.’”

The BxB Media brand will continue operating under BDR as a new “Marketing Services” department, continuing to expand the reach of two first-class industry brands.

“We have worked closely with BDR for over a decade and are thrilled that the BxB team will officially become part of this outstanding organization,” said Daniel Eller, BxB’s vice president of innovation. “BDR’s extensive resources and commitment to excellence will ensure that our clients continue to receive the world-class service and support they have come to expect.”

Key highlights of the acquisition include:

  • Holistic Business Solution: By pairing business coaching and training with results-driven marketing resources, BDR and BxB Media position contractors to conquer their market and take the next step forward for their businesses.
  • Strengthening an Experienced Team: The combined BDR and BxB Media team, now nearly 200 strong, brings decades of experience and proven track records in delivering excellence and innovation to thousands of home services businesses across the country.
  • Investment in Innovation: By joining forces, BDR enhances its capacity to invest in new technologies, research, and development efforts to deliver greater value to clients.
