IAPMO makes Tentative Interim Amendment available for public comment
In accordance with the IAPMO Regulations Governing Committee Projects, IAPMO announced a tentative interim amendment (TIA) to the 2021 edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) has been submitted for public comment.
TIA UPC 003-21 would delete text in UPC Section 611.1.2 (Scale Reduction Devices) and Table 1701.1 (Referenced Standards).
IAPMO invites all interested parties to review the proposed TIA on the IAPMO website under Uniform Plumbing Code / Proposed TIAs and respond by filling out the comment form located at: https://codes.iapmo.org/docs/2021/UPC/TIA/Submit%20Public%20Comments%20for%20UPC%20TIA%20003-21.pdf
The deadline to submit comments is May 14.
Completed forms for the UPC may be emailed to Enrique Gonzalez, plumbing code development administrator, at enrique.gonzalez@iapmo.org.
