Slant/Fin’s VGH Boiler offers the next generation duo stainless steel water tube heat exchanger featuring larger water passages increasing the heat output, the company says. The lower pressure drop on the water side also contributes to the compact size and the lower pressure on the flue gas side contributes to the longer approved vent lengths (up to 481 feet). The vent connection is deigned to accept PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene and stainless steel. The small footprint VGH-, 299, 399 and 500 are perfect for most commercial installations and all sizes weigh under 188 pounds. The onboard control has four built in cascade program modes, allows for remote operation controlling the heating, DHW and boiler sequencing and has the ability to cascade up to 16 boilers. Residential and combi sizes expected by 2019 heating season.
