The Greensource CDi Series SM Rev C is a high-efficiency, two stage water-to-air heat pump. The SM Rev C features the new Heat Pump Control (HPC) microprocessor, which communicates with the new Bosch EasyStart App. With the app, contractors no longer need to open the physical unit to start-up, service or monitor the system, Bosch notes. They can commission the unit by configuring up to 24 optional settings for customizable comfort, as well as view the real-time status of components and system temperatures to aid in start-up, troubleshooting and diagnostics.

The SM now comes with eight thermistors that are strategically placed within the SM unit cabinet. The thermistors relay temperature readouts such as entering water, leaving water, return air, discharge air, discharge refrigeration, freeze evaporate, freeze coaxial and domestic water to the HPC and EasyStart app. For unit communication, the local Wireless Interface Module allows for remote install and monitoring within a 20-foot unobstructed radius.

The SM Rev C features up to 32.0 EER (part load) and up to 22.0 EER (full load) GLHP; highly efficient two stage operation with scroll compressor technology; and a copper or cupronickel coaxial heat exchanger. The Heat Recovery Package (HRP) helps reuse latent heat for hot water heating and the fiber-free, closed-cell foam insulation helps to keep the system efficient thereby improving IAQ, the company says.
