After a fire struck Dornbracht’s Iserlohn, Germany-based corporate headquarters and production facilities last month, the bath and kitchen fittings manufacturer is refocusing on its core product line.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Crane Plumbing announced a voluntary recall of about 5,500 Crane whirlpool bathtubs - the drain covers in the tubs can entangle a bather’s hair in the openings, causing the bather’s head to be held under water, which can result in drowning.

According to the company, more than 1,700 Chicago Faucets products are BAA compliant, including an array of manual and electronic faucets.
