Geothermal heat pump manufacturer WaterFurnace International announced the return of SEVENbration, a celebration of another successful year for the 7 Series variable-capacity geothermal heat pump. 

An installer who is used to boiler replacements may view the mechanical room aspects of changing from a boiler to a geothermal heat pump the same as a boiler changeout; just swapping out one “box” for another. Unfortunately, this can lead to some significant operating problems.

In the ground beneath the Honda Smart Home’s backyard, eight 20-ft. deep boreholes allow a geothermal heat pump to heat and cool the home’s floors and ceiling throughout the year.

With SolarPAK’s variable-frequency drive, the pump produces water even on cloudy days or with minimal sunlight.
