The Get the Lead Out Consortium held a press conference Nov. 9 at Plumbing Manufacturers International’s headquarters in Rolling Meadows, Ill.

To assist PHCC members who were adversely affected by Hurricane Sandy, the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors -National Association has established a financial relief program. 

Engaged employees bring in loyal customers and higher profits for residential service contractors.

Weil-McLain introduced a recognition promotion for contractors in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island, who are assisting families affected by Hurricane Sandy.

The team brought Bradford White water heaters and Baxi Wall-Hung boilers for residents in need.

Presentation of the award coincided with Sid Harvey’s annual sales management conference, training sessions and a factory tour hosted by Taco.

He began his career at the company’s McBee, S.C., manufacturing facility, where he wrapped insulation around water heaters as they were assembled. 

ASSE will maintain its name and identity while functioning as the ASSE International Chapter of IAPMO.

Those who need assistance because of the superstorm may ask that their 2013 national dues be forgiven.
