For use in new or retrofit installations in residential and light commercial plumbing systems, Matco-Norca offers new lead-free CPVC brass adapter fittings in time for the federal lead-free mandate. The adapter fittings come with a durable overmolded one-piece fitting that eliminates a union tail-piece connection and stops a possible leak path. Its end-piece with slip connection also is made of molded CPVC. Completing the adapter fitting is a forged tail-piece with an internal knurl and EPDM O-ring. CPVC brass adapter fittings are pressure-rated to 100 psi at 180° F and 150 psi at 100°.
