Daikin launched the collaboration during the company’s 100th year anniversary and National Air Condition Appreciation Days. Houston Mayor John Whitmire declared August 13 as “Daikin Air Conditioning Appreciation Day” in Houston, in honor of the company’s dedication to sustainability and community well-being.
Donate extra inventory, demo models, tools and building materials that are no longer needed, during the month of August in support of Habitat for Humanity.
Between May 6 and June 14, more than 130 employees volunteered to log their biking, walking, or running on the Charity Miles app, which turns miles logged into money for charity. Collectively, the Rheem volunteers completed 14,512 miles of exercise to reach the company’s goal.
