Daikin launched the collaboration during the company’s 100th year anniversary and National Air Condition Appreciation Days. Houston Mayor John Whitmire declared August 13 as “Daikin Air Conditioning Appreciation Day” in Houston, in honor of the company’s dedication to sustainability and community well-being.

Between May 6 and June 14, more than 130 employees volunteered to log their biking, walking, or running on the Charity Miles app, which turns miles logged into money for charity. Collectively, the Rheem volunteers completed 14,512 miles of exercise to reach the company’s goal.
Several Bradford White employees in Ambler, Pennsylvania spent time volunteering on July 9 at the Philabudance Hunger Relief Center in Philadelphia, an organization dedicated to helping families across the region who are facing food insecurity.
The A. O. Smith Foundation, has donated a total of $300,000 to two organizations in Milwaukee and Nashville in honor of the company’s 150th anniversary.
