Water heater manufacturer A. O. Smith’s high-efficiency Cyclone Xi commercial gas water heater line is now Energy Star-certified. The EPA’s Energy Star program was restricted to residential water heaters but has expanded its scope this year to include gas-fired products operating at 75,000 Btu or more with a thermal efficiency of at least 94%.
