California has $250 million worth of incentives to increase installations of solar thermal systems by 2017.

In order to increase participation in the state’s solar water heater initiative,California has $250 million worth of incentivesto encourage businesses, apartment managers and homeowners to install 200,000 solar thermal systems by 2017.
