EPA Amends RRP Rule
The EPA announced several amendments to the so-called RRP rule dealing with lead
paint that will affect contractors working on buildings built prior to 1978. Of
most immediate importance is that while the the rule became fully effective on
April 22, EPA will not take any enforcement action against firms that have
applied for certification before April 22 and are just waiting for their
