William Trombly Jr. recently accepted the QSC Founders Award named after his father, William R. Trombly Sr., as members of their family look on July 25, 2015, during the Quality Service Contractors Power Meeting in Minneapolis.

William R. Trombly Sr., who died Jan. 2, was one of the founding fathers of QSC and its chairman for QSC's first six years. QSC's trustees created the Founders Award several years ago and officially renamed it in Trombly's honor July 25. Trombly, who owned Bill Trombly Plumbing and Heating Co. in Manchester, N.H., also was past president of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors - National Association (PHCC).
