Next year, the company will give $1,500 scholarships to eligible full-time employees of The Dwyer Group and full-time employees of franchisees.

The Dwyer Group, parent company of Mr. Rooter, introduced a new scholarship program for employees to mark its 30th anniversary. Next year, the company will give 30 $1,500 scholarships to eligible full-time employees of The Dwyer Group and full-time employees of franchisees who are planning to enroll or are enrolled in coursework at certain undergraduate, graduate and trade schools.

Eligible candidates will have been continuously employed by the respective company for a minimum of two years.

“For employees needing financial assistance in order to obtain their educational goals, we wanted to take the opportunity to honor them and their hard work,” saidDina Dwyer-Owens, chairwoman and CEO of The Dwyer Group.

Applications and guidelines for the scholarships are available atwww.dwyergroup.com/scholarships.aspand may be submitted online from Nov. 1 through Dec. 31, 2011. Award recipients will be determined by a scholarship committee; scholarships will be awarded Feb. 1, 2012.
