These mobile, hands-on HVACR Training Labs can accommodate up to 10 apprentices and journeymen at a time to learn about the very latest equipment used in the industry.

Fluke Corp. recently donated more than $4,000 of test tools to the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada to help equip two new 53-foot HVACR mobile training trailers with two units each of a complete suite of tools - from airflow, temperature, humidity and carbon monoxide meters designed for HVAC and indoor air quality control, to digital multimeters and clamp meters for electrical measurement as well as infrared and contact digital thermometers.

These mobile, hands-on HVACR Training Labs can accommodate up to 10 people at a time. Apprentices and journeymen will learn about the very latest equipment used in the industry - such as split systems, heat pumps, variable zoning systems, pipe-fitting, brazing and soldering, package units, ice machines, refrigeration equipment, compressors and motors, and electrical troubleshooting. They will be going into service soon and begin traveling to various locations throughout the country.

The trailers, the UA’s first mobile HVACR classrooms, are the latest in the fleet of more than 40 fully equipped mobile training centers UA provides its local unions.
