CIPH encourages everyone to thank plumbers for their contribution to clean drinking water and basic sanitation.

The Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating reminds us that every single person on this planet is affected by the availability of clean drinking water and basic sanitation and urges us all to celebrate World Plumbing Day on March 11, 2011.

Plumbing organizations are joining the Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada (MCAC) and the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH) to undertake activities with the aim of raising awareness of the important role played by Canada’s plumbing industry.

According to CIPH Chairman of the Board Russ Morgan, CIPH Newfoundland Region President Ron Neary announced that at 7:50 a.m. NL standard time March 11, the CBC Morning Show, CIPH and MCAC started a new wave on The ROCK.

If you see a plumbing contractor on March 11, wave to acknowledge his or her work. CIPH wants this wave to go right across Canada. Catch the wave!!
