Dallas-based TDIndustries recently acquired JBS Mechanical in Phoenix as part of the firm’s overall growth strategy in the state. The purchase price was not disclosed. The integration of operations and facilities was expected to be completed by the end of September.

More than 100 companies were reviewed by TD senior management with four potential acquisition candidates identified. “JBS is a respected HVAC service contractor with loyal customers and a 20-year track record of service to this community,” saidEd White, general manager of TDIndustries in Phoenix. 

JBS Mechanical, with $2.2 million in annual revenues, specializes in commercial and industrial HVAC systems and has a deep client roster of owner-occupied facilities, especially financial institutions. JBS President and Co-ownerRobert Stingerwill remain with TDIndustries as a senior sales executive.George Athens, vice president of service for TDIndustries in Phoenix, will assume day-to-day responsibilities and management oversight. 

Dave Jordan, JBS vice president, is also remaining with TDIndustries and will be responsible for the leadership of the field technicians and customer retention.
