Countdown To Orlando Is Underway For 2010 AHR Expo

October 7, 2009
Registration and housing is now open for the show.

Registration and housing is now open for the world’s largest and most comprehensive HVAC/R exposition, the 2010 AHR Expo. Celebrating its 62nd year, the show returns for the first time in five years to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., Jan. 25-27, 2010.

The 2010 AHR Expo will provide the more than 45,000 expected attendees and exhibitor personnel from more than 120 countries around the world the opportunity to see the newest innovations on display from nearly 1,700 exhibitors representing every segment of the HVAC/R industry.

As the economy recovers, the pace of new technology coming to market and the push for green buildings, the need to be more knowledgeable on the latest industry best-practices has never been greater, say show organizers. To address these critical issues, the show will have more than 100 educational sessions, workshops and product presentations, many of them free to all attendees.

Some important topics that will be covered include:
    Energy Efficiency
    Indoor Air Quality
    Energy Saving and Reclaiming
    Building Control and Automation
    Building Integration and Automation
    SEER 13…and higher
    Green Building Initiatives/Sustainability
    Information Technology and Business Management
    Mold and Moisture
    Alternative Energy Sources
Expanded pavilions will provide professionals important insights into the constantly changing industry. Additionally, many exhibitors will showcase advancements in Green technologies, as well as emerging segments of the HVAC/R marketplace.

Innovative new products will be showcased in nine different categories at the 2010 AHR Expo New Product Technology Theater, including:
    Building Automation & Control
    Cooling
    Heating
    Indoor Air Quality
    Machinery
    Plumbing
    Refrigeration
    Software
    Tools & Instruments
    Ventilation
    Miscellaneous
With the increase of sustainable products into the marketplace, the AHR Expo will once again award qualified exhibitors a “Green Product” designation at the 2010 show. All exhibiting companies who complete the ‘Green Product Recognition’ form and meet the requirements will be provided with a special sign to display in their booth. The designation will help to emphasize the important role played by exhibitors in creating green, sustainable products.

“As a leading information resource for the HVAC/R industry, it is critical that the AHR Expo keep its attendees on the cutting edge of the latest ‘green’ products and issues,” said Clay Stevens, president of International Exposition Co., which produces and manages the AHR Expo.

In addition, the 2010 AHR Expo will include special show features attendees have come to expect from the event. Among these features are Building Automation and Control Showcase; AHR Expo Innovation Awards Presentation Ceremony; and Zero Energy Building Display by the Department of Energy.
