This fall’s PHCC Connect 2009 will include a special panel comprised of well-known manufacturing executives to discuss the ever-changing supply chain.
  • What is the contractors’ role in making sure these inefficiencies do not exist?

  • What is the manufacturers’ role to ensure that the contractor has the product needed to complete the job – no matter the size or type?

  • And where does the wholesaler fit in?
The panel discussion, “Deterring Roles for Success,” will take place at 10-11:45 am, Oct. 23, during PHCC Connect 2009, Oct. 21-23, in New Orleans. Robert Vick, vice president/business development, Legend Valve, will moderate a panel that will include the following executives:
  • Dennis Broderick, vice president/wholesale sales of InSinkErator.
  • R. Bruce Carnevale, vice president/sales and marketing, Bradford White Corp.
  • Don Devine, president, American Standard Brands
  • Tom Fish, president, Anvil International
  • Rex Martin, president, NIBCO
In other convention news, a closing reception will be held at 5 pm, Oct. 23, at the National World War II Museum. The museum will be open only to convention attendees at that time. Buses will depart the Sheraton New Orleans, the convention’s official headquarters, beginning at 4:45 pm.

Formerly known as the National D-Day Museum, the site focuses on the Battle of Normandy, but has since expanded to include other WWII history. Find out more information at www.nationalww2museum.org.
