GreenPlumbers USA To Host Metro City Challenge
GreenPlumbers USA is committed to training America's plumbers to become champions of water and energy conservation. It will host its Metro City Challenge May 26-30 in select cities across the country and offer two green courses.
“We want you to be a part of a ground-breaking effort to unleash an army of GreenPlumbers across the country, making a difference in every house and business they visit,” the organization said in its announcement.
The “Climate Care” course provides comprehensive instruction on reducing gas emissions in homes and businesses. Topics will include: hot water heating, energy consumption, and heating and cooling appliances.
“Caring For Our Water” helps students understanding the water cycle process, and the new technologies and behaviors that contribute to increased conservation. Topics covered include: water efficient products; new technology; reducing household water consumption; storm water runoff pollution and prevention; and an introduction to household water audits.
