An organizational meeting of the new North American Congress on Hydronics took place in October during the Hydronics Institute’s semi-annual meeting in Absecon, N.J. Founding members of the new group are the Canadian Hydronics Council, the Radiant Panel Association and the Hydronics Industry Alliance (a promotional arm of GAMA’s Hydronics Institute).

Jason Bourque of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing & Heating was elected chairman of the group. Ted Lowe of IPEX and a representative of RPA was elected vice-chairman. William Root of Laars Heating Systems Co. and chairman of HIA was elected secretary of the new group.
