EMCOR Group has become a corporate sponsor of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's Code Adam program, a nationwide initiative activated when a child is first reported missing within a facility and prior to the arrival of law enforcement personnel. It was named after six-year-old Adam Walsh was abducted from a department store 25 years ago.

EMCOR is sponsoring the program with the hope of getting as many stores, amusement parks, museums and other public facilities as possible to adopt Code Adam as their missing child protocol.
