The Answer Line
is a new online resource for information on every imaginable specialty plumbing
part. J.P. Shields, a Long Island licensed plumbing contractor with 30 years of
specialty plumbing experience, helped create www.TheAnswerLine.com as a full-service resource with
up-to-date information about toilet parts and repair from 1930 to the present.
Membership privileges allow people to post and read helpful information and
build a network of resources for all their specialty plumbing needs. To
date, The Answer Line has three major china manufacturers on board: American
Standard, Kohler and Toto. It expects to have all fixture manufacturers on the
site by the end of this year.
Basco Shower
Enclosures’ new Web site, www.bascoshowerdoor.com, allows
consumers in the market for a new shower door or enclosure to create their
dream shower environment, print it out, and bring it to their local Basco
dealer to get the customization process started.
Watch FLUSH TV,
an online reality series featuring Detroit plumbing contracting firm Levine
& Sons and created by filmmaker Jennifer B. Katz. Each
episode is about five minutes long; to view, go to www.flushtv.blogspot.com. “FLUSH
TV: It’s not gross. It’s not disgusting. It’s just human nature.”
Heatfab’s
new Web site, www.heatfab.com, features product information sections dedicated
to the Saf-T Vent, Saf-T Liner and Saf-T Pipe product lines, order tracking,
product registration, news items, and a soon-to-be-released interactive adapter
chart that will allow the
user to search for the applicable Saf-T Vent Adapter using manufacturer appliance
model numbers.
HVACR tool and instrument
manufacturer JB
Industries launched its new Web site,
www.jbind.com, which features a product-searchable catalog, a distributor
locator, and the ability to order marketing or display materials. JB plans to
add to the arsenal of technical information with training presentations and
troubleshooting guides, as well as the option to “Ask our Expert.”
