Construction Industry Targets Teens
October 12, 2000
On Nov. 1, the National Center for Construction Education and Research will broadcast "Build Your Future 2000" to students at high schools and vocational schools across America. The satellite broadcast gives students the opportunity to learn about the construction industry and the career opportunities it has to offer.
The program will feature interviews with craftspeople, project managers and CEOs of construction companies. Topics include craft training, career growth, earning potential and employee relations.
Last year's program reached more than 1 million students and construction industry professionals. For more information on how to participate in the program, call 352/344-0920 or visit www.nccer.org.
