Danfoss Supports UN Corporate Citizenship Initiative

Danfoss Inc. announced that Danfoss A/S President and Chief Executive Officer Jorgen M. Clausen sent a letter to the United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan in support of the UN's Global Compact initiative. The Global Compact calls on business leaders around the world to work together for sustainable global development. Clausen's letter commits Danfoss to supporting the nine principles of the initiative that will help foster corporate citizenship and global responsibility.

Herb Kohler Named Entrepreneur Of The Year

Ernst & Young named Herbert V. Kohler Jr., CEO of the Kohler Co., as its 2002 National Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. An independent panel of judges selected him from the other 434 award recipients. National and regional award recipients were selected from more than 4,000 nominees.
