This year's survey of major North American suppliers of radiant heating systems by the Radiant Panel Association indicated that the radiant market is still experiencing growth. 2004 saw a 37.4 percent increase in hydronic radiant tubing sales over the previous year.

An increase in participation from electrical radiant suppliers provided accurate data from that market segment, which posted sales at 214 percent above last year's estimates.

All in all, an estimated 331 million lineal feet of tubing sales in North America were reported, representing a growth of 90 million lineal feet over sales in 2003.

Dominating the market is 1/2-inch tubing with 70.5 percent share; 5/8-inch tubing holds 10.8 percent, with 3/8-inch close behind at 9.6 percent.
