Burnham Announces Dodge Retirement
April 1, 2002
Burnham Corp. announced that John B. Dodge will retire as chairman of the board. He is now chairman emeritus and will continue to act in an advisory capacity to the board.
Succeeding Dodge as chairman is Albert Morrison III. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as president and chief executive officer, a position given to him in 1988.
Donald E. Sweigart was named as executive vice president and chief operating officer. He joined the company in 1975 and was most recently senior vice president.
