Utilities To Adopt Code Of Conduct

A resolution helps utilities work on
a model code of conduct .
The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners recently adopted a resolution to work on
a model code of conduct to cover nonfinancial transactions between a utility and its affiliated
companies. As more states deregulate, the code will help state utility commissions ensure utilities do not
abuse their market power.
