The association discussed in Philadelphia the possibility of revamping its convention and meeting schedules, and discontinuing the Tech Show.
According to NAPHCC officials, the changes — targeted for 2000 — include holding a separate spring education meeting, summer business meeting and fall legislative meeting and conferences.
The move is to increase membership and entice younger contractors to bring their families on vacation to the summer business meeting.
The Tech Show may be discontinued and replaced with a different format.
