American Standard Pledges Cash Donation For Tsunami Relief Effort
American Standard made a direct contribution of $250,000 to the international tsunami relief effort -- $200,000 to the American Red Cross International Response Fund and $50,000 to the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund in hard-hit Chennai, India, where the company has a major commercial braking joint venture operation. American Standard also intends to match employee donations up to $250,000.
