Effective Aug. 1, Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Co. entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Standard Pipe, a manufacturer of ABS pipe. Standard Pipe has plant locations in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, and has approximately 35 employees. Charlotte Pipe and Foundry will continue to operate the new locations as Charlotte Pipe plants.
